Orbital Technologies Establishes SFU Scholarship in Computing Science

Vancouver, BC – April 4, 2005 – Orbital Technologies Inc. announced today that it has established the Orbital Technologies Inc. Scholarship in Computing Science at Simon Fraser University. The Scholarship is funded by a $10,000 endowment, so as to leave a permanent legacy to the University.

The Scholarship will provide one recipient each year with a cash amount that may be used to help pay tuition, books, or living expenses. The amount of the Scholarship will vary based on money available from the endowment each year.

"We're very thankful to be able to establish this award and give back to the development community," said Amyn Rajan, President and CEO of Orbital Technologies Inc. "Orbital develops great software for world class software companies. Our people are what makes Orbital special, and being able to give back to one of the universities that has helped to educate so many of our people is a win for all of us."

Recipients must be an approved Computing Science major at the University, demonstrating strong academic performance and documented community service.

Applicants must include a resume that chronicles their community volunteer service with their submission. The first award is expected to be given in Summer 2005.
