SFU Student Awarded Orbital Technologies Scholarship in Computing Science
Vancouver, BC – June 16, 2008 – Orbital Technologies Inc., a leading Vancouver-based software development services company, is pleased to announce today that Michelle Chan of Simon Fraser University has been awarded the Orbital Technologies Inc. Scholarship in Computing Science. Ms. Chan, a fourth year Computing Science student at SFU, receives the $500 cash award to help with tuition, books or living expenses. Orbital’s SFU scholarship is annually funded by the company’s endowment to the University.

About the Orbital Technologies Inc. Scholarship in Computing Science
The Orbital Technologies Inc. Scholarship in Computing Science at Simon Fraser University is open to any Computing Science student at the University, and is awarded based on academic performance and documented community service. Preference is given to female candidates.
The scholarship is awarded annually in any semester and is funded by Orbital Technologies’ endowment to the University. Orbital has established similar scholarships at the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria. Additional information on the Orbital Technologies Inc.
